5 Waratahs on NSW Contract List for 2019/20 Season

Five Manly Warringah Waratahs have been given Cricket NSW Contracts for the upcoming 2019/20 season.

Steven O Keefe, Jack Edwards and Mickey Edwards were all given full time contracts, while Ryan Hadley and Oliver Davies received rookie contracts.

NSW veteran Steven O Keefe has been awarded a contract once again, after recently taking his 200th shield wicket for NSW. SOK will no doubt play an important role for the Blues on field, and as one of the more experienced members of the side, will be a great mentor for the many young Manly players coming through the NSW setup.

After a stellar debut season for the blues, which included a maiden Sheffield Shield century, Jack Edwards has been promoted from a rookie contract to a full contract for NSW. Jack was also the NSW JLT One Day Cup player of the year last season and will look to have another massive season in 2019/20.

Mickey Edwards has also been awarded a full time contract with the Blues for 2019/20. Despite some injuries disrupting Mickey last year, Mickey showed his class for Manly when fit, taking a career best 7 wicket haul. Mickey will be keen to demonstrate this for NSW this season, and really cement a spot in the NSW starting sides.

After fantastic form for Many 1st Grade, as well as unbelievable showings in the u/19s tournaments in 2018/19, Oliver Davies has been rewarded with his first rookie contract. Ollie has been demonstrating his amazing cricketing prowess for many years, and will now have the opportunity to show his ability on the state scene.

2018/19 recruit Ryan Hadley has also been awarded a rookie contract for the upcoming season. Despite injuries disrupting Ryan last season, when he was fully fit, Hadley showed his incredible ability with the ball, and will keep demonstrating this in the NSW setup.

Congratulations to all players on their contracts, and we wish them the best of luck for the Blues in 2019/20.
