Mens captains confirmed for 2024/25 season

The Mounties Manly Warringah Waratahs are pleased to announce the Men’s Premier Cricket Captains for 2024/25.

Jay Lenton once will again take the helm for First Grade, after building a strong side and culture in 1’s over the past couple of seasons.

Lenton has helped 1st Grade reach two semi-finals and 2 Grand Finals in the last 4 years and will be keen to challenge for a premiership again this coming season.

Jordan Daly will be leading 2nd Grade this season after a seasoned career with the Waratahs.

Jordan has won multiple Premierships and knows how to win big games. Jordan takes over from the retiring Andrew Jamieson.

After another strong season as captain over the last 3 years, Sam Hole will continue to lead 3rd Grade in 2023/24.

Sam led from the front again last year, playing some strong cricket on the way to another Grand Final which, for the 2nd year in a row, ended in a draw. Sam and 3s will be raring to go once again, and will no doubt be looking to finally lift the trophy at the end of the season.

Following another Premiership last season, Adam Parkinson will once again take the helm in 4s this year.

Parkinson has been a fantastic leader over the last couple of years, even when the (c) has not been next to his name. 4th Grade have won the premiership for the last 3 seasons and will be looking to make it 4 in a row in 2024/25.

Former NSW 2nd XI representative Simon Waddington rounds out our Men’s Grade leaders as 5th Grade Captain again this year, hoping to win another Grand Final.

Waddington has been a fantastic leader for 5s over many years and his experience will again be a strong bonus for the clubs youngest Men’s grade side as they look to push into the pointy end of the season.

Congratulations to all captains for their appointment, and good luck for the upcoming season.
