The Waratahs are proud to announce Jocelyn Huxley as September’s recipient of the Westfield Warringah Manly Junior Club Volunteer of the Month award.
This award is available to volunteers at all Manly Warringah Junior Clubs and is proudly sponsored by Westfield Warringah Mall.
For the last three or more seasons Jocelyn has been acting as the Collaroy Plateau Cricket Club Junior Secretary and is the overseeing coordinator of all the junior CPCC teams. She has fostered, along with Camielle Handley and others, the development of the CPCC Girls Cricket program and has been manager over multiple seasons of more than one CPCC team.
For the last two seasons she has run and coached the CPCC In2Cricket program, and engaged former Junior CPCC players to coach their youngest cricketers. This has seen Jocelyn up at the Plateau every Friday night and has also included coordinating the CPCC canteen and BBQ.
Jocelyn works tirelessly behind the scenes, despite recently being back to work full time. Each year CPCC Coaches and Managers have folders and packs for their teams put together by Jocelyn. She also chairs, arranges and does the minutes for the Junior CPCC meetings and is the organiser of CPCC events and fund raisers such as the junior presentation night, Coaches and Managers thank you nights, and Pink Stumps efforts.
And on top of all that Jocelyn is the junior uniform ordering specialist at CPCC!
The CPCC Junior Club would not continue to be so successful without Jocelyn’s dedication, time and effort.
Once again the Waratahs would like to thank our close friends at Westfield Warringah Mall who have come on-board to support the monthly winners. There is no doubt that they are a community organisation that is just as passionate as recognising local volunteers as we are, and are proud to be supporting the award through a $250 voucher for each months recipient.
We are proud to present Jocelyn with this award for September.
Congratulations Jocelyn!
