The TravelSim Waratahs will look to continue there rise up the Club Championships as they take on Northern Districts in a 2-day match over the coming weekends. After a couple of wins last week, coupled with a PG’s victory, the Tahs have stormed back up to 4th in the Club Championships with 4’s and 5’s also leading there respective competitions. With Jay Lenton on NSW duties in week 2, there will be a few mid-round changes, however all grades look very strong going into a tough game against the ever-strong ND Rangers.
1st grade welcomes back NSW player Jay Lenton for week 1, while Jarrod Rawlings will step up in week 2. Second grade welcomes Luke Diserens up from 3’s with Dylan Marshall unavailable due to work commitments. James Boyer replaces Aidan Bariol in 3rd grade, who is unavailable due to Australian U/16’s commitments against the touring Pakistani’s.
4th grade welcome Sam Hole from 3’s for week 1 only while Sam Kelly steps up to take the gloves in Jame Boyer’s absence. Finally, 5’s has a debutant in talented young star Ollie Davies who has been selected on the back of a mountain of runs, including 173* in an U/15’s DCA game last week.
