The Manly Warringah Waratahs efforts in the annual Beach2Beach fun run have raised almost $5,000 for the Burdekin Assocciation.
Over 50 players, volunteers and friends of Manly Cricket took part in this year’s Beach2Beach fun run and raised $4,818.25 for our charity partner, who provide much needed support to homeless youth on the Northern Beaches.
Burdekin do this through a range of programs that help develop healthy relationships, establish goals to secure education or career pathways, as well as providing stable accommodation.
Our team also won the prize for 2nd largest team and as a result Burdekin will receive an additional $1500 on top of the funds already raised.
The day was a great success, with members of the Manly Cricket community participating in the 13km, 6km and 3km events.
