Waratahs looking for 2015/16 1st Grade Manager – Do you have what it takes?

The TravelSIM Manly Warringah Waratahs are looking for a 1st grade manager for the rest of the 2015/16 season.

With the unfortunate retirement of club great Michael “Juice” Shepheard from the role, we thus far have not been able to adequately fill the position and are therefore advertising for anyone interested in cricket, the Waratahs, and the Manly Warringah area.

Not only will you be an integral part of the first grade set-up, but you will also get the best seat in the house to see top quality cricket, with many current and former state and test players gracing the field as part of, and against, our 1st grade side.

The first grade manager will be required to attend all 1st grade home and away matches. Games begin at 10am (for one day cricket) and 10.30am (for 2 day cricket) with arrival at the ground one hour before play begins. The manager will help with warm-ups on the day, help with clothing if and when required, provide drinks during play while we are in the field, among other ad-hoc tasks.

There are also some Sunday matches on-top of the Saturday games throughout the season, but this is quite rare for this season.

You will be provided with all gear, given a free Blue Blood Membership, and free attendance to end of season presentation night.

If you are interested in this role or know someone who is, please contact Club Secretary Steve Beatty at honsec@manlycricket.com or 0419 422178.
