Sam Hole has developed into one of the stalwarts of the clubs 3rd and 4th grade sides in recent years with his disciplined batting at the top of the order and wily left-arm spin. Blessed with some of the best defence scene since the retirement of Rahul Dravid, ‘Pot/Glory/Digga’ has continued to defy opposition sides early wickets with his combative style and grinding persona. More than just a defensive marvel, the youngster also owns the clubs all-time 5th grade bowling average record, further cementing himself as an all-round specimen and game-changer. It’s always a pleasure having Sam around the club, and many scouts are waiting with baited breath for him to kick-on up the grades with aplomb in the years to come!
